Although I am Right-Handed, I come from a family with Left-Handers. To me seeing someone writing or doing anything with their left hand was a normal thing. I didn’t know that it was different and how many challenges left-handers faced until I was much older.
International Left Handers Day is celebrated annually on August 13th. The day was established to raise awareness of the challenges faced by left-handed individuals and to promote the understanding and acceptance of left-handedness.

Education: Historically, left-handed children were often discouraged from using their dominant hand, which could lead to discomfort and reduced fine motor skills.
Social Biases: Left-handed people sometimes face social biases or misconceptions. In some cultures, left-handedness was historically viewed with suspicion or negativity.
